Founded in 1973, the Bicycle Trip is an independent, locally owned shop serving Santa Cruz County for over 50 years. It carries road, mountain, electric, kids, and women-specific bikes from Giant, Santa Cruz, Cervelo, Juliana, Liv, Electra, and Gazelle, alongside professional bike fitting, performance optimization, and full repair services including electronic drivetrain and shock work. The shop actively supports local advocacy and trail stewardship through partnerships with Bike Santa Cruz County, Santa Cruz Mountain Trail Stewardship, and Project Bike Tech, a nonprofit providing youth mechanical training.
