Stumphouse Mountain Bike Park is a state-of-the-art public facility located in Walhalla, SC, and the only dedicated mountain biking park open to the public in Upstate South Carolina. Built by Benchmark Trails to U.S. Forest Service and International Mountain Bicycling Association standards, the park features professionally designed trails with berms, rock gardens, rollers, and tables. The 150-acre facility is maintained by the City of Walhalla and welcomes novice and experienced mountain bikers; the adjacent Ross Mountain Passage, a 4.9-mile multipurpose trail, connects Stumphouse to Oconee State Park as part of the Palmetto Trail system.
