RecWell Bike Shop is a student-powered operation at the University of Maryland serving UMD students, faculty, and staff. The shop provides free bike repairs (with required active RecWell membership), rents commuter and mountain bikes by the day, week, semester, or year, hosts bike maintenance classes and group rides, and carries a limited inventory of bike parts and safety equipment. Repairs are hands-on and educational, with patrons expected to participate in their own work.
