Ptown Bikes opened April 1, 1995 with 55 rental bikes and has grown to over 650 in its fleet as of 2026. Located at 42 Bradford Street in Provincetown, it carries Trek, Specialized, and Electra bikes, with a large rental fleet including Specialized Como e-bikes. The shop offers tune-ups, flat-tire fixes, brake and gear adjustments, free air and chain lube, and online reservations and pay-as-you-go rentals. Owner Bill Meadows has provided free rental bikes to filmmakers, production crews, and entertainers for 20 years, and donates bikes for a free annual Saturday morning community ride.
