Founded by Arnold Dwyer in 1937, Arnold's has operated continuously in Provincetown's Commercial Street heart for 87 years, now run by grandson Robert Beaton. The shop rents, sells, and repairs bikes: authorized dealer for Giant and Raleigh: and maintains a fleet of over 400 rental bikes ranging from one-speed beach cruisers to 21-speed road and tandem bikes. It serves both locals and the decades-long tradition of summer visitors exploring Provincetown village, rolling hills, and Cape Cod National Seashore. The head mechanic has been with the company 23 consecutive years; emergency mobile repair and on-bike assistance are provided during business hours.
