About
Planetary Cycles opened in October 1994 as a locally owned, owner-operated shop cofounded by a career bicycle mechanic and Danny Savitzky, who remained integral to the business until his death in 2018. The shop carries Woom kids bikes, Catrike and TerraTrike recumbent trikes, and road, mountain, e-bike, and trike models; it also formerly manufactured recumbent bicycles through a company called Cycle Genius. Known for local trail expertise and custom bike builds, Planetary Cycles emphasizes repair, fitting, and personalized service across all rider levels and bike styles.
