Planetary Cycles opened in October 1994 as a locally owned, owner-operated shop co-founded to serve cyclists at every stage of their journey. The shop carries Cannondale, Giant, Juliana, Liv, Salsa, and Santa Cruz, alongside Shimano components, and offers custom builds, expert repair, and local trail knowledge. The owner was trained as a regional manager for a 10-shop chain and co-founded Cycle Genius, a recumbent-bike company; the shop has been recognized as a top 50 dealer for Cannondale and Giant. Planetary Cycles also stocks recumbent trikes from Catrike and TerraTrike, kids' bikes from Woom, and serves a broad range of riders including those interested in road, mountain, e-bike, and specialty cycling.
