Pro Bikes Texas started in April 2020 when John, inspired by a West Texas cycling tour and hike up Guadalupe Peak, began repairing bikes from his garage during the pandemic. The shop quickly grew into a community hub in Houston (10511 Windsor Ln, Suite A101) focused on the local MTB and gravel scene. John and Federico Poggioli, who joined in 2024 with 30+ years of international mountain biking experience, bring over 70 years of combined riding and mechanical expertise. The shop carries Salsa and Yeti bikes and emphasizes honest, quality service for riders of all levels, offering a gathering space with coffee and community alongside repair and build work.
