About
Performance Bicycle is based in Chico, California, and carries Specialized, Shimano, Continental, Schwalbe, and Vittoria. The shop specializes in gravel, road, and mountain bikes with a strong community presence around Northern California riding, hosting group rides and partnering with local cycling teams and events. Its editorial voice emphasizes gravel as a social, exploratory discipline that bridges roadies and mountain bikers, backed by detailed local ride guides (Bidwell Park Road, Rattlesnake Creek, Forks of Butte Loop) and tire recommendations.
