Pedals on Rails is Elizabethton's only dedicated bicycle rental and repair shop, located directly adjacent to the Tweetsie Trail, a rails-to-trails project following the former ET&WNC Railroad between Johnson City and Elizabethton. The shop specializes in family-friendly bike rentals, e-bike rentals, and professional bicycle repairs for both tourists and local riders exploring the area's scenic trail system, downtown historic sites, and riverside routes along the Doe and Watauga Rivers.
