Founded April 1, 1973, by Bruce Summers and Mia Sieminski, Pathfinder has operated from its current High Street location in downtown Morgantown since 1993. Beyond bicycles, the shop stocks skis, snowboards, kayaks, camping gear, climbing equipment, and skateboards, with full-service bike and ski repair departments. It carries All-City, Cannondale, Giant, Juliana, Liv, Santa Cruz, Surly, Yeti, and components from Shimano, SRAM, 45NRTH, and Teravail. The shop explicitly positions itself on expanding the local outdoor community across cycling, snow sports, climbing, hiking, paddling, and camping.
