About
November Bicycles, founded in 2010 in Newport, Rhode Island, specializes exclusively in custom handbuilt bicycle wheels. All wheels are built to order and ship within three weeks; alloy wheels start around $900, carbon around $1200. The shop operates direct-to-consumer with no resellers, allowing customers to speak directly with the builders. Since launch, the company has emphasized transparency in materials and testing methodology, discontinuing product lines (carbon clinchers) when the value proposition did not justify the cost.
