Mobile Bike Repair, started in 2013 by owner James Hodges, brings on-site service to Northern Virginia (west of Reston) and neighboring areas of Maryland and West Virginia. Hodges is a lifelong cyclist with extensive bikepacking and racing experience, including Tour Divide and Iditarod Trail Invitational races. The shop offers full tune-ups (brakes, shifting, wheel truing, chain lube, drivetrain cleaning) and à la carte labor for wheels, brakes, derailleurs, chains, handlebars, and bottom brackets, with a $45 mobile service charge. Hodges also established a Loudoun Cycling Without Age chapter and supports local trail organizations and cycling businesses.
