Mike the Bike Guy opened in 2008 on Magazine Street between Uptown and the Garden District, founded by Mike, a New Orleans native who earned master-mechanic status during seven years at the Bikesmith (1989: 1996) and fourteen years as head mechanic at GNO Cyclery. The shop offers same-day repairs and tune-ups, flat fixes while you wait, and bike rentals (single-speed cruisers and multi-speed bikes) positioned for touring NOLA's neighborhoods, parks, and historic districts. Owner Mike and mechanic Shane each bring over 20 years of repair experience.
