Founded in 1975 near Harvard Square, Marathon Sports has grown to 30 retail locations across New England. The chain introduced its Right Fit® bio-mechanical shoe-fitting process in 1992 under owner Colin Peddie, and now carries Puma, Merrell, Mount to Coast, hylo, HOKA, ASICS, Altra, adidas, Brooks, and Saucony. The shop hosts weekly group runs at multiple locations and publishes a New England race calendar covering 5Ks through marathons.
