About
Kickstand Bicycle Collective is an all-volunteer nonprofit in Knoxville that repairs and donates used bicycles to people unable to afford a bike, including children, refugees, and unhoused individuals. The shop provides helmet, lights, and locks with each donation; teaches volunteer repair skills and bike safety; and maintains six free public repair stations across Knoxville. It also sells higher-end bikes to fund operations and partners with local organizations on community events and cycling infrastructure advocacy.
