About
Founded in 1980 by Jan Peterson, Jans has grown from a single ski shop into Park City's largest outdoor recreation retailer, expanding to mountain biking, road biking, fly fishing, and snowshoeing across multiple locations including Park Avenue, Deer Valley Resort, the St. Regis, and White Pine Touring. The shop carries Juliana, Santa Cruz, Shimano, and SRAM, and offers bike tuning and repair, mountain and road bike lessons, guided biking tours, and bike rentals. Jans' staff includes longtime industry experts whose input has shaped manufacturer products.
