About

Gearhead Outfitters was founded in 1997 by Ted Herget in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and has grown to 18 stores nationwide. The shop carries Specialized, Surly, Salsa, SRAM, Shimano, 45NRTH, and Teravail across bikes, parts, and apparel. While the website emphasizes broad outdoor categories (camp, hike, water, climb, snow, run, travel), the bike inventory is minimal and the company's primary positioning is as a multi-sport outfitter rather than a dedicated bike shop.
