Family Bicycle Center has operated in Elkhart since 1978 under the ownership of Mark and Georgia Gingerich. The shop specializes in repair and custom wheel building, offering tiered maintenance packages from basic tune-ups ($90) through major overhauls ($350), and carries new bikes from Giant, Liv, Momentum, and Sun Adult Trikes. In addition to repair services, Family Bicycle stocks replacement parts, accessories (car racks, seats, locks, gloves), and sells refurbished bicycles.
