Exhale Bikes opened in North Phoenix in 1993 as a location of the predecessor Excellent Bikes, and took its current name in 2005 under owner Nate Andrews, who became a vital figure in the MBAA and NICA racing community. The shop carries Specialized and Shimano, offers full service on all bikes and complete e-bike service for Specialized brand e-bikes, and provides three levels of tune-ups. Current owner Steve Lovejoy has continued the shop's focus on racing and the local cycling community.
