Question 1

What tune-up options does Ernie's Bike Shop offer, and how much do they cost?

Accepted Answer

Ernie's offers three tune-up levels: the Darn Good ($49.99), which covers basic adjustments and inspection; the Even Better ($119.99), their most popular option with deep cleaning and component service; and the Best ($229.99), which includes premium treatments like hot wax chain lubrication and headset/hub disassembly. E-bikes, recumbents, and three-wheelers have separate pricing at $79.99, $159.99, and $279.99 respectively. Software updates and diagnostics are included in the higher-tier tune-ups for e-bikes purchased at Ernie's.

Question 2

Accepted Answer

Customers can walk in without calling ahead, and a mechanic will assess the bike, identify issues, provide an estimate, and enter it into the repair calendar. Customers may then either leave the bike for service or schedule an appointment to return, with wait times varying by season.
