Street Collective operates a community bike shop in Des Moines offering refurbished bikes, used parts, and do-it-together repairs at shared workbenches. The organization has given away over 3,800 bikes and logged 13,000 bikes rehomed, while running a public bike share system across the metro and providing free bike safety education through rodeos and adult classes. Beyond the shop, Street Collective designs and distributes regional trail maps and installs bike infrastructure and parking throughout Central Iowa.
