Question 1

What is Cyclologic's approach to bike fitting?

Accepted Answer

Cyclologic uses a fit-first methodology that begins with the rider rather than the bike. The fitting process combines clinical analysis with concierge service, including medical history review, static and dynamic foot assessment, 4-camera 3D motion capture, pressure mapping, pedal stroke analysis, and state-of-the-art aero analysis from Velogic and Airo CFD. Medical fitting is available in partnership with Endurance Rehab.

Question 2

Does Cyclologic offer custom bike builds?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every custom build begins with a concierge-style consultation and is assembled with precision and intentionality. The shop curates bikes and components based on performance, durability, and ride quality standards, and works with customers to create machines that reflect rider-first thinking without rushed decisions or unnecessary components.

Question 3

What services does Cyclologic's service department handle?

Accepted Answer

The service department addresses the bike as a complete performance system, including drivetrain optimization, brake precision, wheel truing, and suspension setup. Work is completed with intentional craftsmanship and attention to torque values and alignment, combined with clear communication and a focus on getting jobs done right the first time rather than prioritizing speed.

Question 4

Who founded Cyclologic and what is their background?

Accepted Answer

Founder and CEO Paraic McGlynn is a cycling analysis professional from Ireland with a background coaching elite athletes since the early 1990s and a transition from Cat 1 racing into sports biomechanics and performance analysis. Prior to founding Cyclologic, he was a director of Serotta's SICI Fit school, worked on the world's first cycling-specific wind tunnel, and serves as the lead Trek Precision Fit instructor for North America and a performance analyst for Trek Factory Racing.
