Sailworld Cape Cod opened in July 2000 as an outgrowth of Jim Ballantyne's 1986 windsurfing school, later rebranded Buzzards Bay Bikes in 2019 to reflect its shift toward bicycles. Located at 139 Main Street in Buzzards Bay, half a mile west of the Bourne Bridge, the shop is owned by Jim and Pam Ballantyne and managed by Kaylen Ballantyne, a competitive enduro mountain biking champion. The shop offers bike rentals for Cape Cod Canal paths, bike assembly for online purchases, shipping services, and general bike service.
