Question 1

What is Bicycle World's return and satisfaction policy?

Accepted Answer

Bicycle World offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee allowing returns within 30 days for replacement or refund. Merchandise that appears used is subject to a restocking fee, and labor fees (such as custom wheel builds) are non-refundable. Returns over $100 require a return authorization number.

Question 2

How does in-store pickup work at Bicycle World?

Accepted Answer

Most orders are ready for pickup within one business day, though some items may require additional time for assembly or transfer from off-site locations. The shop will contact the customer by phone or email when the order is ready. Orders not picked up within 15 days will be subject to a 10% restocking fee unless special arrangements are made in advance.

Question 3

Does Bicycle World ship orders, and what are the shipping options?

Accepted Answer

Bicycle World offers four shipping options for orders within the Continental U.S. and does not ship outside this area. Orders typically ship one business day after placement. Some items may incur additional shipping and handling charges based on size or weight.

Question 4

What should a customer do if an item is backordered?

Accepted Answer

If an item is unexpectedly out of stock, Bicycle World will only charge the customer's credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. If an order is split into multiple shipments, the total shipping charge will not exceed the original quoted amount.

Question 5

Does Bicycle World have a loyalty program?

Accepted Answer

Bicycle World offers a loyalty program where customers can earn discounts and rewards by entering their phone number to receive a text with a registration link. Customers can track reward points accumulation through the program.
