Founded in 2010 by Mike Martin and Jeff Schuler, Bicycle Re-Source of Bend is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, rebuilding, and distributing bicycles to community members in need through outreach organizations including churches, schools, charities, and government agencies. The shop operates Sundays 9am: noon at 2669 NE Twin Knolls Dr, Suite 203, in Bend, Oregon, and accepts bicycle and monetary donations; unusable parts are recycled or donated. The organization offers wheel-building, wheel-tuning, and flat-repair education classes and sponsors local community events including Bend Little League, Crook County Connect, Meals on Wheels, and Shop with a Cop.
