About

Todd Hood purchased Bicycle Experience in 2013 after retiring from a 20-year Army career and has built it into a grassroots mountain bike and snowboard shop at 1601 S. Tejon St. in Colorado Springs. The shop carries Specialized, Santa Cruz, Yeti, Intense, Juliana, Surly, 45NRTH, Teravail, SRAM, and Shimano, with in-house suspension rebuilding as a core service: Brandon D'Aurelio, the team manager, rebuilds all major suspension pieces. Custom bike builds, general repairs, and winter sports sales and rentals round out the offering.
