Babcock Bicycles has operated in the Binghamton area for over 35 years, beginning in 1981 when Kevin Babcock opened the shop and later expanding in 2004 with the purchase of Ted's Bike Shop to create a unified location at 108: 110 West Main Street, Endicott. The shop carries Trek, Shimano, SRAM, Teravail, 45NRTH, Electra, and Rad Power bikes, with hundreds of bikes and an extensive parts inventory in stock. Services include professional fitting through Trek Fit Kit training, bike assembly and repair, and custom builds.
