Americancycle.com began in 1981 as a family-owned brick-and-mortar shop in Johnson City, NY, founded by the owner's father to fill a local BMX gap, and grew into a nationwide mail-order operation via BMX Plus and Ride magazines. The shop carries complete bikes from Cult, Sunday, Kink, GT, Redline, Colony, Eastern, Fit, S&M, Stranger, Haro, DK, and WTP, plus parts from Shimano, Chase, Insight, Answer, Box, Profile Racing, Odyssey, GT, Primo, and Redline. Services include custom bike builds from scratch, custom wheel building and truing, repairs on mountain, city, road, gravel, scooters, ebikes, hybrid, and BMX, and e-bike battery and parts sales.
