Aviation Cyclery was opened by Dick Taylor in 1963 at 1075 N Aviation Boulevard in Manhattan Beach. The shop changed ownership several times over its 54-year history before closing on October 31, 2017. It became a landmark in the South Bay cycling community and was eventually purchased and its remaining inventory was acquired by Hermosa Cyclery.
