Founded in 1975, the Associated Students Bike Shop is a student-staffed, nonprofit repair operation serving the UCSB community in Santa Barbara. Located in UCSB building 344, the shop provides general repairs and maintenance while prioritizing education, co-learning, and accessibility to bike repair. Beyond repairs, it partners with campus organizations on Bike to Work Day, Zero Waste Festival, and the Bike Fair, and is intentionally structured to welcome people new to mechanical work into the cycling community.
