Founded in 1957 by Thomas 'Ace' Meeker, Ace Bicycle Shop has served Springfield and Central Illinois for over 65 years. The shop moved to its current larger location at 2500 S. MacArthur in 2004 under current owner Pete Meeker (who took over in 1999). Ace carries Aventon, Cannondale, Giant, and Rad Power bikes, and provides repair and custom-build services on all makes and models, from tune-ups to complete builds, plus parts, tools, apparel, and nutritional items.
