Top bike shops in Athens, Ohio

Athens is home to five local bike shops serving the university community and regional cyclists.

As a college town in southeastern Ohio, Athens attracts students and residents who bike for both transportation and recreation through the region's rolling Appalachian terrain. Local shops stock practical components and complete bikes from brands like Shimano, SRAM, and Surly: gear built for varied conditions rather than niche racing. The riding here ranges from urban commuting around campus to exploring the wooded hills and creek valleys that define the surrounding landscape.
