Worcester Earn A Bike, founded in 2001 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2005, teaches bicycle repair and maintenance to youth and community members while enabling them to earn a donated bicycle through volunteer hours. Operating from a Stone Soup location (The Village as of 2022), the shop provides tools, instruction, and repairable bikes and parts, emphasizing bike riding as an economical, healthy, and green alternative to car culture.
