About
Wheels in Motion traces its roots to Campus Bikes and Toys, founded in 1933 by Farrell Plotner; now in its third generation under owner Travis Plotner, the shop has operated since at least the 1980s. Located at 3402 Washtenaw Ave in Ann Arbor, it carries Trek, Kona, Pivot, 3T, Surly, All-City, 45NRTH, and Teravail, with a professional service center and bike fitting. The staff includes service managers, a lead production mechanic, and a sales/cycling ambassador focused on fat bikes, reflecting deep roots in local riding culture around trails like Huron River Drive, DTE, and Torn Shirt.
