Vermont Bicycle Shop, registered as a business in 2014, is located in downtown Barre at the top of Millstone Trails. Owner Darren Ohl, Vermont's first PBMA-recognized mechanic, brings over 20 years of professional service experience and over 1200 bicycle fits; the team includes Bridget, a professional mechanic since 2019, and others with deep community ties. The shop carries Trek, Orbea, Surly, 45nrth, Teravail, Shimano, SRAM, and Electra, and provides repair, bike fitting, and serves cyclists from casual neighborhood rides to multi-day adventures. Vermont Bicycle Shop offers community discounts to Millstone Trails Association volunteers and other local service members.
