Founded in 1987 and locally owned, Vail Bike Tech operates from Lionshead Mall steps from the Eagle Bahn Gondola. The shop rents full-suspension mountain bikes, road bikes, e-bikes, and children's bicycles from GT, Jamis, and Scott; carries retail gear from Shimano, Fox, Pearl Izumi, Bell, Giro, Kali, and Camelbak; and offers repair service. For summer 2025, the shop offers guided bike tours to the top of Vail Pass.
