Urban Bike Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit community bike shop founded by Sarah Green, David Hallberg, and Brian Windle, located in Wilmington's Upper East Side neighborhood in a restored historic police stables building. The organization serves over 1,000 Wilmington youth and adults annually with free and affordable used bikes, free and low-cost repair services, mechanics education, group rides, school programs, and summer camps, positioning bicycles as affordable transportation, health recovery, recreation, and community connection.
