Upcycles began in 2010 as a two-person operation fixing and flipping used bikes in a residential garage, and is now owned and managed by career mechanic Matthew Mendez. Located in NE Portland, the shop carries Rad Power and Surly alongside a curated selection of parts, tools, and accessories including lights, locks, and helmets. Services include tune-ups starting at $75, flat repairs, bike assembly for all makes and models, and most jobs completed in one day; the shop operates drop-in Saturday 9am: 3pm and Sunday 2pm: 6pm, with weekday appointments available.
