About

The Pedal Factory is a non-profit community bike center founded in 2015 in Salisbury, North Carolina, dedicated to making bicycles accessible to kids and adults through Earn-A-Bike programs, bicycle donations, and used-bike sales. The shop operates on a donation and volunteer model, accepting refurbished and donated bikes in all conditions and recycling those beyond repair locally. Open shop hours (Tuesday: Thursday, 12: 6 pm) provide community access to tools, repairs using shop equipment and used parts inventory, drop-off repairs, and bike fittings. The Pedal Factory also hosts educational community workshops, kids' riding lessons (Let's Ride, Rowan program), and group rides.
