The Boston Bike Company, founded by John Sortino (former CEO of Vermont Teddy Bear Company), manufactures custom commuter bicycles in Cambridge, MA. The shop designs step-over, step-through, and youth frames with configurable drivetrains (1, 3, or 7 speed) and custom color options, built from American chromoly steel. Currently preparing for commercial production launch after a proof-of-concept phase.
