The Bicycle Shop has operated in Fayetteville since 1970, originally on Bragg Boulevard and relocated in 2002 to 502 North McPherson Church Road. Owner Martyn Gibson purchased the shop in 1993 and has built it around road, mountain, hybrid, comfort, and youth bikes from Trek, Specialized, and Gary Fisher, with accessories from Bontrager, Shimano, and others. The shop offers repair service with same-day appointments and 24-hour turnaround on new-bike service, and hosts two no-drop Saturday group rides (26 miles and up-to-26 miles for new riders) departing from Fayetteville Community Church.
