Question 1

What makes Swell Bike Co.'s bikes different from standard cruisers?

Accepted Answer

Swell Bike Co. manufactures maintenance-free fleet cruisers featuring a fully-encased carbon steel shaft drive instead of a traditional chain, tubeless honeycomb rubber tires that require no air and never go flat, and a Shimano coaster brake with no cables. The bikes use an aluminum frame with UV-protected high-gloss finish and stainless steel hardware designed for rust resistance, even in saltwater environments.

Question 2

How much maintenance do Swell bikes require?

Accepted Answer

Swell bikes are engineered to minimize routine maintenance by eliminating common failure points on traditional bikes. The encased shaft drive system only requires greasing twice a year, and the solid rubber tires and coaster brake design eliminate the need for typical chain and brake cable servicing.

Question 3

Can Swell Bike Co. customize bikes with company branding?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Swell Bike Co. offers fleet customization options including choice of core colors or personalized frame and rim colors, and logos can be added to turn bikes into rolling advertisements for a brand.

Question 4

What is the design origin of Swell bikes?

Accepted Answer

Swell Bikes were designed at the beach, for the beach, with durability in saltwater environments as a core consideration. The aluminum frame, steel fork, and stainless steel hardware are specifically engineered to withstand harsh coastal conditions and heavy-usage scenarios.
