Question 1

What is Stoker's Studio's service model, and how does the appointment system work?

Accepted Answer

Stoker's Studio operates an appointment-based drop-off system designed to service bikes quickly and efficiently. Customers schedule appointments through the website or by texting/emailing, then bring their bike in for a detailed inspection; work begins after a customized quote is approved, with customers receiving text or email updates throughout the process.

Question 2

Does Stoker's Studio offer wheel building services?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the shop specializes in custom wheel building for all types of riders using Islandix instruments for digital tracking of lateral and radial trueness. Every wheel build comes with a certificate detailing spoke tension balance, radial, and lateral tolerances.

Question 3

How does Stoker's Studio handle pricing for repairs?

Accepted Answer

Rather than selling generic tune-ups, the shop performs a thorough inspection and creates a detailed, itemized quote specific to each bike's condition and the customer's riding preferences, so customers only pay for services their bike actually needs.

Question 4

What are customer bike profiles, and how do they work?

Accepted Answer

Stoker's Studio creates personalized profiles for each customer's bikes, allowing the shop to maintain stock of needed parts, create custom service schedules, and manage maintenance reminders so customers can focus on riding rather than tracking service intervals.

Question 5

What makes Stoker's Studio distinctive in its approach to custom bike builds?

Accepted Answer

The shop creates one-of-a-kind machines assembled to the highest standard, focusing on custom builds that match individual riding style and preferences rather than simply selling off-the-shelf inventory.
