Question 1

Does Stay Classy Bicycle Rentals offer free delivery?

Accepted Answer

Free delivery is available throughout San Diego, subject to minimum rental fees that vary by zone. Downtown San Diego requires a $50 minimum, Ocean Beach/Mission Beach/Pacific Beach require $85, and areas north of La Jolla to Encinitas require $125. The shop recommends reserving deliveries at least 24 hours in advance, though same-day delivery availability can be checked by phone.

Question 2

What repair services does Stay Classy offer?

Accepted Answer

The shop offers limited repair services due to staffing constraints and does not work on electric bikes. Flat tire repairs are available.

Question 3

What is the shop's rental fleet specialty?

Accepted Answer

Stay Classy operates the largest road bike rental fleet in San Diego and has over 30 years of experience in bike rentals. All rental bikes are professionally tuned and test-ridden before checkout.

Question 4

What are the delivery and pickup policies for bike rentals?

Accepted Answer

The shop delivers to residences, hotels, and Airbnbs throughout San Diego but does not deliver to parks or restaurants unless negotiated. One-day rentals are picked up the next day unless otherwise arranged, and bikes must be picked up from the same location where they were delivered unless negotiated.

Question 5

Does Stay Classy require advance payment for bike reservations?

Accepted Answer

Rental payment is required upfront to reserve a bike with the shop.
