Question 1

Does Southridge Cycling host racing events or competitions?

Accepted Answer

Southridge Cycling is associated with Southridge USA, which organizes mountain bike racing events including downhill, cross-country, and Super-D disciplines. The shop supports a racing community through SRC (Southridge Racing Co.) memberships, which offer benefits like race entry discounts and custom jerseys for overall winners.

Question 2

What is the SRC membership program and what does it include?

Accepted Answer

SRC membership costs $50 and provides members with a permanent race plate and number, a pair of grips, an SRC JAM T-shirt, and $10 off all Southridge race entries for the season. Membership is optional; riders do not need to join to participate in Southridge events.

Question 3

Does the shop offer MTB clinics or instruction?

Accepted Answer

MTB clinics are currently on hold at Southridge Cycling, though the shop has offered them in the past as part of its community programming.

Question 4

What are the park rules and restrictions for event attendees and tech support?

Accepted Answer

Motorized vehicles (mini bikes and pit bikes) are prohibited from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except for point-to-point transport from condo to tech vehicle. All tech vehicles must be washed before parking. Bike washing is prohibited in the Tech Area, though a central bike wash is provided.
