Founded in 2010 by Ian Downing, a Montpelier native who trained at Colorado Mountain College, Slope Style Ski & Ride operates from River Street in Montpelier, 2 miles off I-89 Exit 8. The shop carries Aventon, Giant, and Rad Power bikes alongside its core ski inventory, serving central Vermont's year-round outdoor community with bike tune-ups and repair (7: 10 day turnaround on most bikes). Downing emphasizes honest service and gear the staff uses, having built the business with former mentor Gordie Eurich and remaining rooted in the local community.
