Founded in the 1970s during the first North American bike boom, Sleepy Hollow Bikes earned its reputation through the Whalen brothers: triplet road racers who worked at the shop as teens, eventually bought it, and built its standing among performance and recreational cyclists alike. Now owned and operated by Travis Torsky in partnership with the Whalens, the shop carries Fuji and Salsa and offers professional bike fitting, tune-ups, and sales consultations grounded in competitive cycling experience and retail expertise. The shop serves riders across the spectrum: from first-time buyers to racers overhauling decades-old bikes: and draws on Sleepy Hollow's local cycling community and road racing history.
