Single Track Bikes opened in 1990 on Beaver Street as a grassroots operation run by brothers Ken and Andy Salmon. In 2000 the shop moved to its current 3,000-square-foot location adjacent to Northern Arizona University, where it has been owned and operated by Kyle H (president) and Jared Gilyard (treasurer) since 2017. The shop carries Trek, Electra, Gazelle, and Surly bikes alongside a large parts and accessories selection, and offers repair and maintenance for all bicycle types: including suspension, e-bikes, and non-motorized mobility devices: typically completed within 24: 48 hours. Professional bike fitting is available through Kyle H, who uses a 10-step process.
