Founded in 1972 by rocket scientist Bruce Ryder as The Bicycle Center, the shop has operated under the Ryder Bikes name since 1989 and is now owned by Paul and Karen Tobio. The current location at University Parkway spans over 4,500 square feet and stocks Giant, Pinarello, Salsa, Surly, Rad-Power, Radio-Flyer, Shimano, SRAM, and Teravail. Services include expert bike fitting (Retul-certified), general repairs, and trade-in programs; the shop carries road, mountain, gravel, BMX, recumbent, tandem, and adult trike inventory across multiple categories.
